I book a night in one of our own rentals before every major presentation or corporate performance, as a guest and not the host.
To be honest, it started quite by accident: I had a big investor pitch the following morning and my apartment was under renovation. I found myself booking one of our best units in Roma Norte, and that was when it happened — a shift in my routine. Unbeknownst to me, I had created the perfect reset: a quiet space I designed, with blackout curtains, strong Wi-Fi, zero clutter, and a short walk for quality coffee.
Now, it's a ritual — before, during, and after.
I consciously created that experience for myself to feel what our guests feel, experience the check-in friction, and come into the day recharged (physically and mentally). It's kind of like running user testing on myself while I am preparing for high performance.
What allows me to deliver my best is not just sleep or preparation — it's putting myself in the shoes of the person we serve and ensuring I would book my own rentals again.
This is how I stay sharp, and how I build trust.
